A little history about the Mo-Colemans, and our indy bad boy... Rogan...

Let me first start by introducing my family. My name is Clyde Coleman III, I have a lovely wife, Tonia. Tonia and I have been married for one year (July 1st!). During the first year we have experienced a lot of first. We bought our first new car, a dodge durango, and we also bought our first home located in the west of Springfield Missouri (which was a life changing experience!) Rogan, a UKC reg. yellow lab, who is almost completely white, we found in the paper. We went to look at the pups when they were 6 weeks old, and Rogan was the one that picked me. He stood straight up and looked at me as though to say... "hey man, you gonna pick me? you gotta pick me!" and we did. Rogan is now 8 months old, and at first he seemed to hate the water! Wanted no part of it! The wife and I would take him out to the lake and toss in his favorite toy, only to have that toy become a lost soul! lol We'll last weekend Rogan finally jump full in and swam, and he retrieved! We couldnt be more proud. So, in full Coleman fashion, we have taken this as a sign and we have started down the path of training Rogan to be a Dock Dog! (a dock dog is a dog that loves water, and runs and jumps off a dock, or pier to retrieve. There are special competitions around the country and the people involved are awesome!) There is a competition coming up in Osage Beach Missouri on Aug 4th 2007, and were going to attend and see if Rogan loves it as much as we think he will. Were looking forward to exploring our new hobby, and hope you enjoy walking along this path with us.

What's New?

Rogan is slowly but surely learning to jump in and to retrieve from the water. My wife Tonia and I are taking Rogan up to Fellows Lake, which is a near by body of water to get him used to going in and having fun. He seems to be taking to the water like a duck! Were very excited!
